Mike, originally from London, UK, is an 21 year veteran within the global aviation industry. Aside from being in charge of all commercial business development activities of BAS Guernsey from a charter prospective, Walsh also serves as CEO of Asia Jet and CCO of Hongkong Jet. He previously served as the General Manager & Executive Director of Air Charter Service (HK) Ltd, where he also served as a Director on various boards within the same corporation spanning a 10 year period. He has worked in Europe, USA, Russia CIS, Middle East before coming to Asia Pacific in 2007 and conducted contract work with the UNHCR and UK.
He has worked in Europe, USA, Russia CIS, Middle East before coming to Asia Pacific in 2007 and conducted contract work with the UNHCR and UK DFID government department in many global humanitarian disaster areas. His aviation career began at Aer Lingus as a check-in agent, the national carrier of Republic of Ireland, before eventually having the chance to work alongside CEO Willie Walsh (Now Chief Executive of IAG) at the time. Mike is currently also on the Board of Governors at the non- profit industry association, AsBAA - Asian Business Aviation Association. He is also an active member of the American Chamber of Commerce, BRITCHAM & NBAA. Mike is married with two children.
Stan spent 7 years in West Africa setting up AOC’s Gabon, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Camroon. He spent time flying mainly charter contracts for the oil and gas industry.
He was in the Middle East for 5 years working for Amiri Flight and was responsible for all contracts and procurement, the world’s largest privately owned and operated wide body VVIP fleet of aircraft. His main focus was being involved in the contractual negotiation of acquisition and completion of new B747-8 and A340, A320, A319, etc.
Stan then spent 2 years in Saudi Arabia, responsible for ExecuJet with the management of a Saudi Based aircraft management and FBO’s.
Stan began at Asia Jet HK as the Director of Procurement and Aircraft Management.
Currently, Stan is the Asia Jet Malaysia CEO, responsible for the start-up of the office, AOC application and commercial aspects of the company.
Jeff’s career began as a solicitor in a Hong Kong law firm. However, after several years of practice, he decided a change was needed which ultimately led him into the world of business aviation.
After taking some time off to obtain his New Zealand Private Pilots License, he joined Asia Jet’s charter team in 2014 and quickly gained the relevant experience to help him succeed in the business. In addition to aircraft charter, Jeff also gets involved with the company’s aircraft management business and assists with the company’s legal matters from time to time.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Politics and History from the University of Toronto, a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from City University of Hong Kong and a Postgraduate Diploma in Arbitration and Mediation from the Hong Kong University School of Professional and Continuing Education.
